King Offa School celebrated
it's centenary on March 7th 2007. The children dressed in Edwardian costume for the day; we held a
special celebration assembly with invited guests who then toured the school and
our Centenary displays. In the afternoon a "tea party" was held for the
children, with a table running the entire length of both halls, plus tables on
either side of the halls. We had a birthday cake with 100 candles on and after
tea we released 100 balloons kindly supplied by the Bexhill Observer. "A Children's palace..." the Bexhill Observers comment on the opening of the school in 1907, click HERE Click HERE for more about King Offa School
